Holy stamps, Batman!!!!

Let me preface this by saying I NEVER win anything. Ever. Not since 10th grade when I was an honorable mention in this statewide art contest for high schools...so the fabulous Donna Downey put a giveaway up on her blog for some new stamps that have been created using some of her canvas paintings...I won. I am so totally stoked about it that I want to scream.http://donnadowney.typepad.com/ you will see it right there...silly little post.
Totally freakin' out over here at i scrap....
if you hear screaming, it's just me. Excited. Cause I won. And I NEVER win. (oh, and I won a SLICE last February at CHA from MM...but before that...10th grade. Seriously.)
PS does anyone know how to link with just a name or a word instead of the whole fadooey???

Sorting photos

Have yo uever found, through sorting, that you take more pictures of one child than another? I was always told after the first you slowed down. HA! That is not the case for me...I find I ahve more shots of my Q than the others, but it may be that he is at a very funny, photographic age or maybe he's just allowing more shots...my older boys are doing the sports thing so I take a lot of their games...I suppose I need to concentrate more on individuals as well. They are all so fun and different, I want to capture that in their scrapbooks...

Oops

Um, yeah, all that excitement about staying home, warm meal, early to bed blather really just means I misplaced Pack Meeting. You know, the scout thing where my son is finally earning his award.
Nice.
It's a good thing I wasn't totally looking forward to my jammies. HA!

Funny boy things

Not THOSE things...the funny things they say...
for instance, Q calls "Indiana Jones" "Banana Jones." To me this is quite funny.
Like Tyler's school picture, but not as scary.
For those of you who have not seen them, you are certainly missing out. For those of you who have, I implore you, do not tell him I think they are funny!
He would be very sad. And cry. And really, we have enough ways to make him cry, this would just be a waste of power.
Okay, I really need to start my DH part 2 or it won't be done by the time I need to leave for home...
Seriously, people, stop distracting me :)

A lovely day to play

Yes.
It is raining.
NO.
It really hasn't been much of a spring and really, I am loving the grey sky right now.
Don't get me wrong, I love the sunshine as well, but rain makes me want to curl up with some good product and a creative mind and play with some pictures...or a snuggly blanket and a good book...I'm easy that way.
So tonight there is no baseball, no official ground breaking of the field they have been playing on for the past month and no pictures...too bad as the over cast sky would make for some fantastic shots.
Loving my new Lime Twist candle.
Loving the quiet...off to watch the second half of Desperate Housewives season finale...and maybe play with my May Scarlet Lime kit...
Or else come up with a fun class for the store.
Wish me luck :)
